KAME engineering has been designing machines and systems for industry since 1998. Our specialty is in metallurgy. We plan steelworks and rolling mill components and other systems for processing sheet metal. The chemical industry also relies on KAME engineering. However, we also look after other companies that have a need for professional engineering.
Well-known customers, whom we have successfully supported for many years, rely on our experience and our expertise in plant and mechanical engineering.
More information about our services and realized projects can be found in the current KAME folder!
Title:
DS SuperCharger
Area:
charging station for self-propelled work machines
Description:
Transfer of the imagined design of the charging station into a production-ready construction with a modular structure.
Area:
Stahlwerk LD3
Description:
Conversion of the existing "rigid" alloy ladle to a height-adjustable
Objective:
Reduction of collisions between alloy ladle and ladle due to slag build-up and thus less maintenance-intensive
Area:
Pulp Production/Cooking
Description:
Design of the digester discharge line from digesters 1-7 to the tanks based on Rohr2 calculations due to the pressure & temperature loads.
Objective:
Complete restart of the cooking
Area:
Special machine construction/plastic coating
Description:
Project support and management of the construction of a film cutting machine that was modified according to customer requirements
Objective:
New version of the film cutting machine due to new requirements
Area:
Special machine construction/plastic coating
Description:
Project support and management of the construction of a coating system that was modified according to customer requirements
Objective:
New version of the coating system due to new requirements
Area:
Steel mill LD3
Description:
Construction support
Area:
Continuous annealer 1
Description:
Construction of an edge inspection device with width adjustment
Objective:
Monitoring of the strip edges to assess the condition of the trimming knives
Area:
Continuous annealer 1
Description:
Construction of a color measurement for the upper and lower side of the strip
Objective:
To improve quality control
Area:
Inspection line 4
Description:
Construction of several plant parts with extended functions and performance
Objective:
Adaptation to the increasing requirements of quality and thickness of sheet metal for the automotive & electrical industry
Area:
Hot rolling mill roughing stand
Description:
Draft and concept for a new descaler with pinch rolls and offset nozzle bars and water catchers
Objective:
Easier to maintain and better strip surfaces
Area:
continuous casting/roll processing/maintenance
Description:
Prototype of a processing machine for a new way of processing the surface of continuously cast rolls
Objective:
Better surface processing and reduced maintenance times
Area:
Hot rolling mill/finishing line
Description:
Concept and design of a new, more service-friendly descaler with 400 bar pressure
Objective:
Better serviceability, shorter maintenance times, higher pressure
Area:
Cold rolling mill
Description:
Construction of several plant parts for the new strip heating
Objective:
Higher annual throughput and sheet metal grades
